I received my B.Sc degree with honors in Zoology from Gauhati University and M.Sc. degree in Life Science (Zoology) from National Institute of Technology Rourkela. I completed my Ph.D. degree in Interdisciplinary areas of Science and Engineering at the School of Energy Science and Engineering, IIT Guwahati under the supervision of Prof. Vaibhav V. Goud as a Prime Minister's Research Fellow. My Ph.D. research work is on Biowaste valorisation to sustainable chemicals and fuel production.
My research interests include bioprocess engineering, Biomass conversion technology, and sustainable biomass valorisation for the development of biofuels, bioactive compounds, and industrial bioproducts. Focus on integrating the upstream and downstream process optimisation, analytical characterisation, and circular bioeconomy principles to design efficient and scalable biotechnological solutions.

I wish to share my knowledge and utilise my skills and experience with students from technical institutes, biorefineries, and companies working in this field.
